Chris Dalton is the human face of Relight Health. Chris has developed a distinctive approach to maintaining health and fitness, strength training and body conditioning. Chris is a Master Trainer (Cert IV Australian Institute of Fitness), a full qualified yoga teacher and an accredited Strength for Life instructor. He is recognised for his proficiency in all aspects of complimentary and fitness training, especially as it relates to an older demographic.
Key components in his approach includes cultivating yoga-based mobility, flexibility and balance into load bearing and resistance exercise and in daily routines. The focus is on improving cardiovascular health, building a stronger core and increasing endurance, as well as increasing confidence
through improving range of motion, enhancing posture and improving stability.
Chris has a solid background in marketing and creative communication in both the public and private sector. He has also enjoyed high level engagement and competition across a range of sports including cycling, surfing, sailing and windsurfing.
Chris has incorporated yoga asanas to help prepare for and to recover, in different sporting environments since his early 20's. He has applied himself to take on a more focused yoga practice for more than 12 years. In more recent times he graduated from Yoga Theory’s Yoga teaching program and he currently teaches at a number of gyms, yoga studios and community centres across metropolitan Adelaide in South Australia.
